Ingredients
  

  • Ingredients for the pizza dough:
  • 1/2 cup sourdough starter
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups fresh milled whole grain flour in this recipe I used Einkorn
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. King Arthur's pizza seasoning The ingredients listed are onion, garlic, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, and salt.
  • Ingredients for the homemade pizza sauce:
  • 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • 1 Tbsp. thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 garlic powder
  • You can experiment with different ratios of these seasonings to your liking or you can also add more King Arthur pizza seasoning!
  • Ingredients for homemade pizza toppings:
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef crumbled
  • 1 cup purple onions
  • 1 cup fresh chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup fresh chopped spinach
