- Ingredients for the pizza dough:
- 1/2 cup sourdough starter
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups fresh milled whole grain flour in this recipe I used Einkorn
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp. King Arthur's pizza seasoning The ingredients listed are onion, garlic, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, and salt.
- Ingredients for the homemade pizza sauce:
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1 Tbsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 garlic powder
- You can experiment with different ratios of these seasonings to your liking or you can also add more King Arthur pizza seasoning!
- Ingredients for homemade pizza toppings:
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cooked ground beef crumbled
- 1 cup purple onions
- 1 cup fresh chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup fresh chopped spinach
